There are many that know the clearance racks. Automatically, one would think they’ve got the goods on the know-how about what it takes to find the deals. You know what? They’re right. However….
What if there was an even better way to find the deals? And to be more specific on the better way of finding deals, imagine finding a shirt for literally 50 cents! It’s possible. Seriously. “How?” you ask? Listen closely….
You can learn a lot about the fluctuation of clearance and how it works in two ways: one, simply start a part-time job working for one of your favorite clothing stores; and two, keep up on friends that work at your favorite clothing stores! Makes sense, right? To start off, having a part-time job at a clothing store not only gives you the ins and outs of when items go on clearance, but you also get your store discount to boot! The same applies for friends that work in clothing stores–keep up the communication, and you might land some of the most amazing deals as you let your friends make purchases with their discount, saving you loads of money on some of the freshest fashions.
This is generally how it works: Starting right in the beginning of the year, January, you’ll notice the spring merchandise. As you get right on the cusp of the summer season, check the racks–you’ll find the clearance section’s loaded with the leftover spring items! Nab them. Get them before they go away! The same goes for summer items during the fall, and then around February for the winter stuff. In addition, yellow tag clearance will sometimes go to what’s called “red tag” clearance, which is much, much cheaper. So keep your eyes open. That’s how clearance fluctuates.
Those are the master techniques. Anyone else shopping without those resources and wisdom in mind are just amateurs!
